We are going to DC on March 2.  If you can't join us, you can still be involved!

This Wednesday the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt—the case challenging Texas law HB2.

For too long, anti-abortion politicians have snuck around the constitution by using sham laws like HB2 to shut down abortion clinics, and prevent women from accessing safe abortion care. Playing politics with abortion access isn’t just wrong it’s dangerous. Closing clinics in our communities won’t end the need for abortion, but will force those seeking an abortion to take matters into their own hands.

What can you do to help on March 2? Join the online Rally to Protect Abortion Access and help us expose and oppose these sham laws.

WMF signed an amicus brief in support of Whole Woman's Health.

We are very excited be one of 41 funds to sign on to the National Network of Abortion Funds Amicus Brief. In total, 45 amicus briefs were delivered to the court today in support of abortion access. This amicus brief demonstrates the devastating impact that abortion restrictions like HB2 in Texas have on low-income patients seeking abortion care. These restrictions are created to decrease access and increase the cost of abortion to the point of making it out of reach for many people seeking care. Read more here.
